hey berg, i was at the game tonight and im not gonna lie it had playoff environment writing all over it!! Granted we got waxed and we started a 3rd string rookie goalie the place was packed and jumping...to be honest i wore my KC hat (kc royals)and got some laughs and some stares but it was just to remind ppl of what we might not have. I have fallen in love with this the past two years and i honestly believe a healthy islanders team could compete with the top teams in the league.... The rangers and bruins walked into Long Island and got outplayed even though they both walked out with wins, but the truth remains that with joey Mac and Yann Danis in between the pipe and a young beat up core we held our own! thats why i cant wait til next year!
